Who is responsible for a farm business’s on-line file?

Every on-line file will be under the responsibility of ONE person, who is designated as the “person in charge of access management”.

La Financière agricole has invited its clients (the owner or one business associate) to first access their file and play the role of  “person in charge”.

  • If the owner or an associate enters the user code and password provided by La Financière agricole, he or she automatically becomes the person in charge of managing access to the business’s on-line file.
  • When the business owner or associate accesses the on-line file for the first time, he or she must confirm their identity by providing a social insurance number.

Is it possible to delegate the management of your on-line file to someone your trust?

Yes. The business owner or associate can give the responsibility of managing the file to another person (for example: their spouse, a staff member, etc.).

To do that, he or she must:

  • Complete and sign the form Application to designate a person in charge of access management (This link will open a new windowFrench - This link will open a new windowEnglish translation) (also available at FADQ service centres);
  • Send back the form to your service centre (by fax, mail or in person).

Within a few days, FADQ will send a letter containing a user code and temporary password to the applicant. The code and password must then be given to the person in charge of managing access to the business’s on-line file.
