Business Plan Models

When you present a project to La Financière agricole (FADQ) and a financial analysis needs to be undertaken by an advisor, you must submit a business plan, among other things. Here are the main aspects that will be analysed using that document:

  • Start-up
  • Major development
  • Construction of a specialized building
  • Establishment
  • Succession planning
  • Transfer of an operation
  • Transition toward another production
  • Business restructuring

We recommend that you use one of the following forms, depending on your situation, to make sure your plan contains all the essential elements for a complete analysis of your file:

The business plan models are easy to use and provide a guide to help you prepare your plan. In addition, they are specifically designed to meet the analysis needs of FADQ and of the Investment Fund for Aspiring Farmers (FIRA). In fact, FIRA uses the same documents as FADQ to make its final file analysis.

If you have already prepared a business plan designed to fulfill the requirements of several different agencies, it is important to verify if it contains all the information required by La Financière agricole, by using the models suggested.
