Balanced Phosphorus Report As Of May 15, 2011

From now on, the Agricultural Operations Regulation (AOR) requires all operators of a raising site or of a spreading site, who are required to produce a phosphorus report, must send a copy to the Ministère du Développement durable, de l'Environnement et des Parcs (MDDEP) by May 15 each year.

It is important to remember that, formerly, the provisions of the AOR stipulated that operations subject to the regulation had to have the capacity to discharge of the phosphorus load they produced and imported, at a rate of at least 50% in 2005, 75% in 2008 and 100% in 2010. Farm operations have therefore had the opportunity to prepare gradually to fulfill the obligation of annually submitting a balanced phosphorus report starting in 2011.
