Don't forget the AgriStability program!

Since the 2007 year, the AgriStability program has become the front-line program in Québec, while the Farm Income Stabilization Income Program (ASRA) has become complementary.

Participants in both programs therefore receive the higher amount between the government contributions calculated for AgriStability and those calculated for ASRA for the period covered.

However, ASRA compensation for an operation that does not participate in the AgriStability program will be reduced by 40%. That reduction represents the estimate of the amount that it would have received from the AgriStability program if it had participated in it.
