Reduction for aspiring farmers

All farm operators that qualify their operation for a capital grant under the Financial Support Program for Aspiring Farmers, administered by La Financière agricole du Québec, make it possible for their operation to benefit from a reduction of 25% on their contributions to the Farm Income Stabilization Insurance Program (ASRA), for up to $50,000 annually for all insured products. The reduction applies for two consecutive insurance years.

Starting on the date on which the capital grant is confirmed, the farm business has two years in which to apply to La Financière agricole for the contribution reduction.
