To be eligible for a start-up grant, you must meet the general conditions of eligibility.
In addition, you must present a business plan projecting a minimum gross annual farm income of $50,000 to be reached within 36 months following the date on which the grant is awarded.
The business must demonstrate that it did not benefit from an establishment grant or from a Secure Rate Establishment Loan, unless a change of management occurred.
A minimum level 3 training is required, i.e. an SSVD in agriculture or equivalent.
Do you want to know what level your training corresponds to?
