Description

This program provides additional financial assistance to agricultural businesses that participate in the AgriStability program and that operate in sectors outside of ASRA and supply management.

To participate, Québec’s farm businesses must have a net annual income of under $50,000 and meet certain eligibility criteria.

This program covers productions carried on in Québec. The coverage offered is 85% and is complementary to Agri-Stability coverage.

Products that are allowable are agricultural products not covered or associated with ASRA or not supply-managed.

More specifically, Agri-Québec Plus covers these productions:

• Chicks of all species except hens and turkeys
