Description

This program aims to promote business resilience to climate change through the adoption of environmentally beneficial management practices.

It offers a 5% reimbursement of the contribution of businesses that participate in crop insurance (ASREC) for the following crops:

• Cereals, grain corn, and protein crops
• Vegetable crops, except perennial vegetables: asparagus and rhubarb
• Processing vegetables
• Potatoes

The program will come into effect on April 1, 2026, and represents a commitment of $1 million from La Financière agricole du Québec for a two-year period (or until the budget envelope runs out).
