Eligibility – Financial Data Preparation Fee Reimbursement Measure

Component 1 – Reimbursing fees for the first financial information declaration

To qualify for Component 1, the farm business must:

• enrol in theAgriStability program and meet the eligibility criteria;
• have sent the first financial information declaration, including the business’s production record, through an accredited preparer;
• not have participated in the AgriStability program in the preceding five years.

Eligible farm businesses will receive a lump-sum reimbursement of $1,000 for the initial declaration, limited to financial assistance for a five-year period.

Component 2 – Reimbursing fees for preparing financial information estimates

To qualify for Component 2, the farm business must:

• participate in theAgriStability program and be eligible for an interim payment;
• have sent financial information estimates through an accredited preparer.

The financial information submitted must not be based on the final financial statements.

The reimbursement is in the amount of $1,000 per eligible farm business, limited to financial assistance for a five-year period.
